PROGRAM TIMELINE
Our 6-month IT Networking Security & Infrastructure program teaches students how to utilize security measures to protect data and information, manage network device security, expand small to medium-sized networks with WAN connectivity, describe IPv6 basics, and much more. Here’s a breakdown of your 6-month program.
WEEKS 1-6
IT Networking & Security:
Introduction to core hardware components, peripherals and connectors, computing devices, operating systems, network protocols, configuration, authentication, and wireless.
WEEKS 7-12
IT Networking & Security:
Students will learn about network authentication and security, access control, host and cloud security, disaster planning and recovery.
WEEKS 13-19
Cisco Infrastructure:
Learn how to describe network fundamentals and build simple LANs, establish Internet connectivity, manage network device security, expand small to medium-sized networks with WAN connectivity, and describe IPv6 basics.
WEEKS 20-24
Cisco Infrastructure:
Coverage of wireless LANs, Access Control Lists, IP Services, Network Architecture and Automation.
